MOBILE REMAPPING DISCLAIMER

Please read through carefully and fully.

A £70 deposit will have been taken before your appointment was made. This is a non-refundable deposit if you cancel without re arranging your appointment. Your deposit will not be refunded if your car cannot be tuned due to faults or already tuned, as this will cover our labour, allocated slot, fuel costs, health check and diagnostic.  If the finance option has been taken up as a way to pay, this will have been set up and deposit taken before your appointment. This is with another company (NOT us. It is through payment assist. You will have received an email and contact details when setting up) we will contact the company payment assist directly to cancel the agreement. You will then receive your deposit paid once we get confirmation of cancellation. If this is the outcome, then you are required to pay the £70, this again is to cover our labour, fuel costs, allocated slot, cost of health check and diagnostic. 

Customers are aware that Carlton Tuning LTD does NOT know your vehicle, (wear and tear etc.) or how it has been maintained (serviced regularly, health checked regularly) We are therefore unaware of any issues not reported on pre health check. It is therefore the customers responsibility to accept any damage to all serviceable parts before, during or after a remap is carried out.  This includes clutch, dpf, turbos, egr valve, maf sensors, injectors etc. As a result, any issues up to and including engine damage/failure cab occur, Carlton Tuning LTD take no responsibility if engine damage/failure occur. No warranty is given or implied to any components on your vehicle before or after the mapping process apart from the ecu. In some cases, and ecu may fail or go down during the tuning process, this sometimes can be unavoidable, and in some cases an ecu may have to be replaced at the customers cost, we want all customers to know that this is a risk from tuning any car.

We expect that vehicles are in good working mechanical order without error codes stored in the ecu that will affect the results of the remap. If we find such problems, we will advise that the problem is fixed before a remap. It is your responsibility to know what state of tune your vehicle is in prior to our visit. If we find your vehicle has already had a remap, you will still be charged the same fee. If you wish to carry on with our remap then a further charge of £60 will be charged for putting your car back to stock and our file applying. We always try to first use the easiest, least obtrusive and least detectable method to tune your vehicle but in some instances, we may have to remove and open your ecu. If the remap can not be completed due to the car not being in a tuned ready sate. The tuning session will still be charged. 

Carlton Tuning does NOT recommend pop and bang or hard cut on any car, these can cause damage to a car’s engine and will only be added to a customer’s car at their request at the customer’s own risk. 

The customer must report any issues they develop within 7 days of the work being carried out and will refrain from slanderous activity on or off social media without the sufficient evidence to back up any claims that our software has caused such problems. The customer accepts that if this is not adhered to, Carlton Tuning have the right to seek legal action. 

Warranty
Here at Carlton Tuning we offer a lifetime warranty on all our software, any problems at all we will run a full diagnostic scan and adjust the file if needed free of charge.  you maybe charged a call out fee of £60 for us to come to you.   Please note:
The warranty is with the car and doesn’t move on to a new owner if the car is sold.
A receipt must be shown as proof of purchase, or you may be charged.
If the diagnostic brings up a problem which isn’t map related you would be charged £60 diagnostic fee. If the car is taken to another tuner or garage this will void all warranty with us, as our software may have been tampered with. 

Money back guarantee: We will offer a full refund only if there is a fault with your software and this can’t be corrected. The car must come back to us and we must be given the opportunity to correct any faults before money is given back. We will not offer money back if your car has occurred a fault not due to our software.

DYNO DISCLAIMER

Your deposit will not be refunded if your car cannot be tuned due to faults or already tuned, as this will cover our labour, allocated slot, cost of health check and diagnostic.  If the finance option has been taken up as a way to pay, this will have been set up and deposit taken before your appointment. This is with another company (NOT us. It is through payment assist. You will have received an email and contact details when setting up) we will contact the company payment assist directly to cancel the agreement. You will then receive your deposit paid once we get confirmation of cancellation. If this is the outcome, then you are required to pay the 50% of the total appointment cost this again is to cover our labour, allocated slot, cost of health check and diagnostic. You’re purchasing a slot of time on the dyno. If you can not be on the dyno due to it not being in the proper running conditions, you time is still expiring. Dyno remapping is an extremely expensive and time consuming therefore the deposit payment taken prior to booking will not be refund due to the above reasons 

I confirm that my vehicle has been maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendation including relevant cambelt changes/ timing chain maintenance and that the vehicle is in FULL, TOTAL road worthy condition and capable of handling the stresses incurred when the vehicles limits are reached  I am therefore happy to allow my vehicle to be tuned at my own personal risk and thus absolving Carlton Tuning of any responsibility should any failure occur. Is includes remaps only, rolling road runs (dyno)

I therefore agree that I have given permission for my vehicle to be tested on the dyno and it must be required that my vehicle is in a tuned ready state. If the remap can not be completed due to the car not being in a tuned ready sate. The tuning session will still be charged.

Inspection can be carried out at our labour rate before or after been on the dyno. This doesn’t gaurentee that there will be no problems or failure once your car is on the dyno/rolling road, nor does this gaurentee that in our inspection that the issues will be resolved.

Tuning accepts no liability for any damage or injury incurred whilst customers are observing the rolling road in operation, as customers will not be allowed to enter to unit while in use.  A clean up fee of £200 will occur for any cars that damage the dyno.  For your safety: ALL customers must always remain behind the barrier. If the dyno is in operation ALL customers will be asked wear ear defenders which are provided by the shutter door, if outside when observing
